I enjoyed Guardians of the Galaxy so much, that aside from seeing it 3 times already, I had to make plushies of my two favorite characters. So here's Groot!

Groot is made from high-quality fleece, with quilted "wood grains" that will never be the same on each individual plush I make, since they're not really planned out, but random each time I do them. The quilting makes those "grooves" stand out nicely. Embroidered face, and everything from the embroidery design to the pattern is all original! I still need to do some tweaking on the pattern, mostly to elongate the torso and neck.

All in all, Groot came out SO CUTE that I plan on making more. The prototype shown here now belongs to an adorable local young Guardians fan, so it's not available for sale. If you're interested in a Groot plush, feel free to note me to see if I'm available for a commission!
