Persephone is a cheerleader for the hometown high school team, the Trojans...and Kenshin is the water boy for the football team (as well as a running back). The poor leopardess has a little difficulty traveling, especially with embarrassing accidents. So...on a long road trip to an away game...seeing that she was "holding it," Kenshin discreetly offers her one of his kit pants so she can stay dry. While embarrassed, Persephone really appreciated his act of kindness and thanked him. However...she realized that she had fuzzy feelings for her "little star" and that she liked to wear kit pants (mostly to avoid embarrassment on long trips, but eventually just likes to wear them). She soon starts to court the bashful kitsune and becomes his "little cheerleader," rooting for him in football and track. I'll someday get a story written about Charlie and Kenshin as teens which will include his romance with Persephone.

For those cubs who wanna know the inspiration...just ask. :P
