Alright, this is my first attempt at a horse! Technically this is my second attempt because my original sketch got lost in my piles of paper. =P
Now, I really need your constructive criticism on this one. Its got to be more than a simple "its good" or "this sucks" I really got to know the reason why it sucks or doesn't. What are my faults, where do I need to improve? I really need this info. Please, your words will mean alot.

well first of all, I'd say try and look at some decent reference material, so here you go:

that's just a starting point, you can get into different horse breeds somewhere along the road, when you feel comfy enough in your ability with this style. Also you should practice hair, you've always had this sort of "Flat" feeling to it, so you should practice drawing it in various layers, take a look at some of my pics, as well as most pics of furs with hair (ex: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14245580/ ) remember to give the hair a bit of depth, especially with the head position like you drew here. (also, in regards to horse hair, you could try making it longer both in back/front, and smoother, since Horses typically have long flowing manes. This could help flesh out the personality of the character as well.)
I don't think you'll be drawing a bunch of horses for people or anything, but it's always good to be able to know the basics of drawing a horse head for when ya do.
Who knows, maybe one day I'll even draw a big buff anthro horse, haha. ^^
Hope it helps hon. =3
