Alex Blackwell is a farmer. He's been farming for God-knows-how-long and adores everything natural. He's shy around other people and often people talk over him to say the same thing, but he's not assertive enough to talk them down.
He is the original Bearer of the Temporal Element. Nobody has had this Element before and people shy away from it due to potential instability (for example, if Alex went back in time and did something that shouldn't have been done, he would create a paradox and it would be very possible for him to get stuck in the past).
He's brave for coping with such a dangerous Element, but sometimes it brings out the bad side of him if he can't contain and/or repress any anger any more.
