Yep. My tribute to Doctor Who. A show I have now come to obsess over, thanks to Straker. I'm in love with the stories, the characters (in particular the ninth doc..which is the only one standing out) and well, the show itself!

Tom Baker IS god XD but for me, right behind him is Chris Eccleston...then David Tennant. not that i think Dave is BAD mind you, but the second thru fourth seasons weren't very good in nailing down his character. i mean...Christmas Invasion "No second chances. I'm THAT sort of a man." then every other villian he met: Daleks"Let me help you!" the Master"Let me help you!" Davros"come with me!" UGHHHH! no, no SECOND chances, just third and fourth and fifth and sixth....
well to be fair, the Christmas Invasion was the first with his character, i think the writers were still trying to nail him down, and Tennant hadn't had time to figure it out for himself yet, either. and with the Daleks, Davros and the Master, he had a very long-standing history with those figures... especially the Master, as that was also when it was revealed that the Doctor was NOT the last Time Lord after all. though i do see what you mean, haha. XD Tennant was fantastic, don't get me wrong, but i'm about done with the "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry"s...
Eccleston was fucking fantastic and it's a right pity there wasn't more with him! he's about tied for second place with the Eighth (Paul McGann) for me, both were far too short-lived but were fantastic for the time they had! ah, well, at least there's the books...

lol, yeah, the sorrys are bothering me. i Do look forward to what will be done in 2010 when Steven Moffat takes over for head writer and executive producer. i think he'll straighten out the continuity and really iron out those rough kinks. i think it MAy be possible for 10 to take the second place...but he still won't beat Tom Baker XD

yeah, a few of my buddies have complained about it too, haha. i'm really excited for Moffat to take over, i'm very pleased and impressed with what he's done so far, and i continue to be pleased with what he's said and hinted at. (and and he promised NO MORE ROSE EVER AGAIN oh god yes thank you thank you) ... who knows, 10 will probably just get better, sure. but yeah, Tom Baker will always be MY Doctor...

oh YES, thank you Steve Moffat! all his episodes are my favorites, even BEFORE i realized that it was him writing them XD i think, 10 has a GREAt chance of being the best of all time under Steven Moffat (no pressure Steve X3)
the latter actually, though i DO have an actual WW2 German Dispatch riders jacket that looks insanely similar XD the one i wear most often is a replica. and no, not buzzed but very short XD his isn't actuallu buzzed though, really short and then kinda plastered down XD mines close. i also don't dress exactly like him, lol, i wear Rocket Dog sneakers that look very similar to david Tennants, and i carry around a Tom Baker era Sonic Screwdriver and Tardis Key XD i think i posted a pic of them in my gallery if you wanna have a look ^_^

well, the new Key is very interesting. i got some great screen captures of it and found a few that looked similar. i plan on soldering on a chip to one of them to recreate the ones the Doctor, martha, and Jack had with the perception filters on them so people wouldn't notice them XD

you have to remember that until the 3rd Doctor the tardis key was just a Key. as a matter of fact i made a replica of one using a screen still from the episode "Spearhead From Space" XD it wasn't until the later 3rd Doctor serials that the familiar spade shaped key that Baker carried around was created. same with Bakers sonic XD that design was Pertwee's first XD i really like the 7th Doctors key though. that was a unique design. ^_^ i'm getting one made of a brass material to go along with my all brass sonic screwdriver prop XD should look sweet. and i still want to get the modern key type so i can put the chip on it. XD

You know, I changed that lock so many times because everyone kept making their own key.
But despite everyone remembering that spade key, I usually just had a nice Yale lock set in there.

Weeeeeeell 5, I hate to differ with you, but considering the fact that you changed the lock to the Trimonic Cypher-Indent Key in your 3rd regeneration, kept it during your 4th and all through your 5th 6th and 7th regeneration till your change in your 7th regeneration to the diamond shaped Prydonian seal Trimonic key, then back to the spade shaped model, which i consider a shame since the diamond shaped model was so pretty, and lock system till you changed it in your 9th regeneration to a disguised Trimonic key shaped as a Yale Key ...I would say that 2/3rds of your life you used the specialized Trimonic key. Of course, you'd have to have a full view of your life from one end to the other and only a select few, including the White Guardian, have that knowledge. anyway, it's not too difficult to get past the key regardless, Tardis keys are largely the same and it is possible to "pick" a Tardis locking mechanism by modifying an incorrect Trimonic Key with small drops of telepathically programmed mercury.
for me the 9th doctor.. now don't get me wrong.. he was a great actor.. but the overall look they gave him just didn't really fit the Doctor imo.. and reguarding the other guys comment after this oen i'm replying to.. no offense to the actress.. but I found the character rose somewhat.. annoying after awhile x-x
Yeah it was hard to get past the costume they put Chris in and, to be fair they did try some more traditional Victorian garb and even tried to add a turtle neck to the jacket for more of a submarine captain look but I can see why they had to ditch it. The outfit they used just suited Chris best really. Besides, you need to change up the Doctors look a little bit and for new fans that had never seen the show, I think the outfit was more visually accessible for them.

Having this pining away fr Rose by the Doctor and then having Martha constantly comparing herself to Rose and agonizing over the Doctor for his not returning her affection and him trying to distance himself from her and then the whole looming return of Rose in series 4...UGH! it just got SO tiring.

Also Moffat is god damn genious at creating a mind blowing scenerio for the doctor .. then pulling right out of it at the end.

nope. Chris Eccleston was better simply because he wasn't actually based on any previous incarnations AND he was willing to kick some ass when needed and not wimp out and try to do the PC thing by trying to save every villian he meets.

Way to capture exact likeness. Not a lot of artists can do that even when good at realism. I am a particular fan of David Tennant though. Chris did awesome though.
