Left winger. More of a speed/passer guy than a shooter. I can double as a netminder if needed.

nice! I'm a playmaker. I actually just recently had a really bad fever, being unable to move in bed, I started planning a forecheck strategy XP.

I also have a crazy love of blocking shots, and battling in front of the net. I play for my college, and my coach often finds it amusing when I'll charge him during drills, take a shot to my front, get the puck to my center, and then whine about taking a shot to the body. (I yap about everything on the ice. part of the playmaker complex, I bark about everything...team jokes that I don't talk at all...until I get on the ice.)

I just got out of the service, so I've got to re-brush up on most of my skills. The speed and passing is still there, but some of the other stuff has yet to come back to me.

What division, if you don't mind me asking? My dad's a Marine, so that kind of thing interests me :)
Really, all you need is to be able to pass. I think I'd rather have a passer on my team than anything else. If you know your angles and know how to use the boards...that's all you need in my opinion (granted, the other stuff helps...but really...you're not gonna get a break away, without someone shooting the puck up ice eh?)

Navy. Just did my four and got out. As for the skills, it's true that all you really need is the passing ability, but I'd like to get the other skills back.

Having the other skills makes the game more fun...I agree. First season (I walked on my high school team pretty new at everything) all I could do was really pass...I was a good body. Now I have some new skills and love playing more than anything. Makes the game more...addictive with a better skill set.

i gotta say I agree with you. I want better skills so I can move up from the 4th line!
