He kind of looks like he just realised that it's raining. You know, that clarity after the adrenaline rush lifts, which allows you to finally notice normal things, so to speak. Lost in a forest, with no plans of how to get further or out of his shackles, and the thought that runs through his mind at that moment is "Aw man, I'm soaked" :)
