Couldn't decide which colour to use (each one having a special meaning behind the lotus flower itself) so I used them all.

The legend of the lotus derives from Egyptians, Buddhism, and Hinduism having similar meanings behind all.
The lotus rises from a murky, dirty pond water, blooming for only a short time to float on top of the water.
The representation I find behind this is that no matter what you come from, or what situation you are in, there is always beauty in overcoming and rising above what life faces you with.
Seems a little cheesy, but hope you enjoy.
This has so much meaning to me it will probably be a tattoo soon, although I may add some Buddhist symbols in.
