Quicker Painting for 
Korat of their blue merle kirin character, Fern. Been wanting to paint a Kirin for a while, so this was a bit of a treat, hah.
Spent a bit longer on this one than planned, in large part in deciding the scene, the old growth forests of the PNW have so much to offer it made me a bit too indecisive : P

Ahhhh, thank you so, so much!!! You did an absolutely gorgeous job with this from the atmosphere (I love that water fall and the greenery and the moss, it looks like all the places around here) to the composition, colors, the flow of Fern's body, and the way she's just looking at you for a second. The details for a speedpaint are downright amazing; the scales, the set of her feet and the fact yes, she's walking on top of the water without disturbance. The mist in the background; the backlighting and the way the light comes through her mane and tail - and the fact that you got her headshape spot on - not deer, not horse, something sort of in between! <333 And the merle coat is just perfect!
