So here he is: the birthday boy. A 31 year old drinking old fashioned moonshine. XD
For humorous effect and to make it relevant to my interests I went with a Sly Cooper theme. Namely Tennessee Kid Cooper.
I edited it to look like I was drinking from a bottle marked 'Tennessee Kid Cooper Old Fashioned Moonshine.' He strikes me as the kind of guy who wouldn't mind taking a blast of the ol' hooch. (It actually is known as Tennessee White Whiskey; so there is some relevance to that too.)
I wonder if he'd like to share some with Carmelita? XD Well never underestimate her tolerance of alcohol. She'd probably outlast him when he tries to outdrink her
. (Or hope she gets drunk before him.)
Yeah I could see it now; a drunk Tennessee staggering around a relatively more sober Carmelita; who would observe him by saying something like: "Bombed out like gringo on Sambuca."
That's why the logo shows Tennessee lying on his back with his eyes rolled back as if he was suddenly knocked back by the stuff. XD
Actually this is a gag bottle I bought known as 'Tipsy Squireel Old Fashioned Moonshine.' And the logo was of a drunken squirrel. XD
you know...if Rioichi invented sushi; you think Tennessee invented moonshine? XD Probably not as its actual history is very sorted. (So is sushi incidentally.) But it's funny to think of it. who doesn't get a little giggly when thinking of a drunk Cooper? XD
Actually this might explain a few things about my art. How am I able to come up with all these pictures and ideas (most of them "they seemed like good ideas at the time" types.) all the time? This might be one of the reasons. XD
Now I do enjoy a good swig every now and then. But like I said; this isn't a real moonshine bottle. It's a gag. XD So who knows what I actually am drinking. ;D (Or thinking for that matter. :B)
Well here's to my 31st. And to future pics. And to future inspiration. (Takes a big swig....) OK...hic...now here me out...hiccup....Sly Cooper..hiccup....goes to an alternate future where Clockwerk wins..and..hiccup...there's a bunch of Sly terminators. (Gets angry.)..NO...hiccup...YOU don't understand what's good!!!

Oh man. Throw it up., Haven't thrown up in large quantities since New Year's Eve after drinking straight rum shots. NEVER wanna relive that again. :-/
Thank you very much friend. You know from the first time you commented on my Kitty picture here this year I knew we were gonna hit it off just right. You leave such thoughtful comments and I appreciate how you note the detail and personally enjoy them. I am still heavily considering continuing or perhaps making a full comic based off that Kitty vs. the fish picture. And maybe...even Carmelita. I might have some fun with her too. I like both characters for their personalities and bods after all. (Who doesn't? XD)
It pleases me that every year I am making impressions on many people. Especially given how many have drawn my characters without me even asking. It's something I truly take pride in and why I continue drawing and always will. But it's also the interactions I share with people that keep me going too. Helps me grow as an artist and a person.
And hey; I always love talking with the chaps that have a great sense of taste and humor. ;D

Heh, something funny about a drunk Cooper, no matter which one, although Tennessee Kid would be one of the more funny ones. Imagining Rioichi after having too much sake. But for Sly, get him drunk and he'd steal Carmelita's fancy pink panties and wear them in a perverted dance. :P I'm so glad I don't drink, but here's to your birthday as well, awesome coony bro. Makes me feel old, knowing my age over yours. Still, you're one of the best, in furrydom, suiting,vartwork, and all-around awesomeness. Wish you were here, I would bake you a free cake. I have always imagined what a scenario for the Cooper ancestors get drunk would look like. And what you said pretty much summed it up. Rioichi would probably do the 'Mr. Orange' dance. Actually I need to have him doing that while he's sober. XD And totally on Sly wearing Carmelita's pink panties...and probably twerk in them. XD

Nice!! A moonshine brand named for one of my favorite Coopers!! I'd say that if this did exist, it would be cool, But I can't drink any beer or moonshine because I have seizures on occasion, and if I did have alcohol, it would kill me. I don't want that... but still, if I had something with Tennessee Kid Cooper on it, it would be a poster. And I'd probably do a cosplay of him, too. He's just that cool!!
Not to say that Sly isn't cool, because he's cool, too. Why would he have a movie coming out next year if he wasn't cool?
