The chill of the wind met with the fresh sea air as Nini walked down the solemn shore. The tourist season was long since over in the mid fall weather, leaving Nini alone to her favorite place to walk. Sometimes she'd go for a swim, her thick Arctic fur keeping her safe in the freezing waters, letting the cold water clear her mind as it stifled her breath, but most days she would walk down the oceanside, letting her paws dig into the cool sand. Most would think the lonely beach to be a sad view, but for Nini it was the most tranquil place in the world.
