IDK man if I was blind on another planet I'd want to be leashed to the only sighted person I trusted.
God the colors on this page are dynamite gorgeous; I love the view of this alien world and it's inhabitants and every character in the background. I mean damn son I had to read this page three times before I actually read it you know? I was looking at all the details
gah artgasm
the Bekir are adorable i like their fins
The four armed vests goo doors alien language
And it still feels like a city, like - I game a lot and I keep looking at this and wish I could play an inhuman game because I'd just sit and enjoy the scenery for hours at a time because - i...wow.
....um sorry for the babbling. This is really, really awesome.

aaa thank youuuu
this page had a tonnnn of light and glow going on with just markers, and then i used an entirely new brush for the paints which behaved in new and different ways so it was...experiment town start to finish ahaha
gah i'd love it if someone with like 3d modeling tech modeled a conturian street, thatd blow my mind.

the endless mountains and forests of my home world are not a sport, but everyday life. people from many different worlds (and wildly different shapes and appearances) have settled here though. (for us the challenge is for our architecture and surface transportation infrastructure to accommodate them).
ah but i remember now, your main guy wants to kind of dissapear out into the woods where he might not be noticed by whoever whatever, i forget, he's worried will come looking for him.
i think he'd do better meeting up with some old prospector or indiginous guy, already living out there, then what he can buy at some camping/sporting goods store in the city.
but then, having grown up in the woods, well ok, very small towns out in the woods, connected to other and distant towns, larger and smaller, only by the narrow strands of transportation corridors, and where, if you walk more then half a mile in any direction, other then toward or along those corridors, you really are out there, in and surrounded by wilderness, i tend to think that way.
so i'm guessing your guy has pretty much only known cities, and the inside of space ships.
anyway this looks like a fun and interesting direction your story is taking.

well i'm definately not writing him meeting a prospector or anything. that's just not where teh plot is headed, haha.
grey's known a lot more than kyo has, in terms of variety. he's never been in a jungle, but he has hidden out in city parks and forests at points in his life. in fact a part of why he was institutionalized on a desert planet initially was because they wanted to remove any chance of him being able to hide were he to get loose.
kyo's only ever lived in a spaceport city, though. he's taken vacations to the country with his family, but is far from a survivalist. about all they have going in their favour at this point is that as technology develops, the ease of survival also increases. and they're shopping for surival tools on one of the most technologically advanced mammalian-settled planets in the known universe.
