I was reading an article at the Wired site asking people to stop writing depressing dystopia, you'd think the writer was asking everyone to stop breathing... Actually that would work out better in the long run.

Also I know every new writer, sorry, "wordsmith" is afraid of the dread "Mary Sue", but if I seen another bland brown haired paper doll lifted to ranks of savior of the future I will puke.
