I have a sketchbook that is almost completely full now (almost time to start in the next one). I love traditional pencil drawing (I do everything with a mechanical pencil). I have a tendency to not finish my digital pieces. ^^;

Good! Making many sketches yo can improve a lot. Well if you don't really feel bad about not finishing digital ones its not a big deal then in my opinion. just do what you like! :)))

I just feel bad that I tend to get halfway thru coloring and then get sidetracked and never finish. xP To be honest, it's usually because when I return to the image I realize I'm not so happy with how it looks (I am constantly improving, even when I take breaks from drawing).

I barely create one piece without breaks (hours, days). I know that feel but if you want to finish an art don't be so hard to yourself. I know my current piece has flaw(s) but i try to do my best and draw them anyway. (ofc i leave arts behind too unfinished) Wel im bad at explanation but sometimes perfection is not needed. I'm sure if you finish an art you would like at least some parts of it. And you'd be surprised your followers/watchers would like it even more! :)

Mostly commissions and art-trades (so when i need to draw for others) taught me to finish a piece even if i'm stressed and not totally satisfied. And at the end I was able to finish complex arts with backgrounds I haven't drawn like before... learn new poses, etc. And i loved the results.... like the other person.

I can't say more! I'm very lazy and i don't like when i draw personal arts and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't learn and improve that much if i draw only for myself.

I hope you understand it. DO art-trades/requests/commissions and you would be "FORCED" to finish art.

You are right! I need to start pushing myself to finish pieces before moving on to others. I'll finish the piece I've been sitting on this weekend. Thank you. :)
