Here is another one of the male characters from the show called Discord. Bad Guy I assume. the references I got for this character were of Q from Star Trek. I was instructed to give him the Q outfit but slightly modified to look more original. I was also told to put random objects on bubbles to make it look more odd. What exactly is this guy? a dragon? griffin? he reminds me of Pantyhose Taro from Ranma 1/2.....weird.
this one took a little time to draw also but the colors came out great.
Wadayathink?

Discord is a "Draconequus". Last one in existence. As for just WHO he is, Discord is the God of Chaos and Disharmony (much as how Luna and Celestia are Goddesses of the Moon and Sun) and once ruled over Equestria... at least until the Princesses used the Elements of Harmony to imprison him in stone. However, after the sisters lost their connection to the Elements, the spell was broken and Discord broke free.
Discord was later freed, Princess Celestia hoping to reform him so his magic can be used for good. He's still pretty much an asshat but he has a morality pet in Fluttershy. He can't deny that he is a jerkass at heart but he values his surprisingly genuine friendship with the Element of Kindness. Everyone else could go to hell but touch his FlutterButter and you're in for a world of hurt... and that goes for HIMSELF too... when he made her cry by aiding Tirek in capturing her and the others, he hated himself.

Voiced by John De Lancie, Discord is a very Q-esque character. A "Spirit of Disharmony" he's made up of a random assortment of animal parts and is incredibly powerful.
Villain, reformed to be merely a pest, then briefly a villain again. An amusing character in general and you've done a great job capturing it here.
Great work!

He's a "dracoequus," which means he's basically a jumble of a bunch of different creatures. He's part dragon, part griffin, part pony, part goat, part lots of other things. It's meant to emphasize his chaotic nature.
He basically has the same powers as Q (can completely mess with reality at will, powerful enough to kill all the heroes with a snap of his fingers but prefers to troll them instead) and was directly based on him, as the creator of MLP: FiM is a huge Star Trek fan.

Well a lot of sources refer to him as a 'draconequus', whatever that is, though I personally see him more as a chimera (his body is an amalgamation of various creatures found in Equestria). He's prolly one of the most powerful beings in Equestria since he has pretty much omnipotent powers to manipulate reality, often bending it to be all hectic and wild (hence his title as Spirit of Disharmony).
Sadly in Season 3 he was reformed (by Fluttershy to my joy) which I think hurt the show as I really liked him as a villain. Thankfully Season 4 remedied that and improved his reformation. Good or bad, he's very entertaining.
