You cant pin that kinda behavore on the gay community alone. You forget the number of strait people who do the above and much worse is alot higher. That not entirely due to the fact that there are more strait people in the world but, gay people a mostly very placid and more careing. The life kinda shapes you that way.

Once a rumor went about the village about me being a gay, within the first day of it being out there i got so many death threats. The rumors have died down now though, so I'm lucky. Some guys didn't get that lucky and I've heard some terrible stories.

Death threats are considered low key here. It's when they beat you senseless that it gets bad, i know that one guy who was open had to move and go into privacy.
I know the bulk of this is true but some was probably made more dramatic for the papers.
Basically he was being beaten by huge groups of guys, having his windows smashed, car destroyed even his pets we're punished horribly. Imagine waking to a banging one night, you go to see what it is and you find your pet cat has been nailed to your door...
Mean while, some of the guys who we're doing this, are fucking him and saying they will kill him if he tells anyone.

Wow... I know that at some point in life... I will have to choose. Here's how it is for me. I'm on my computer, and I look at M/M Yiff practically all day for a day that I'm not working. The twist is... I have a girlfriend. I'm not interested in having a relationship with another guy, I wanna live my life with a female... but dang, M/M art is just so hot... I dunno what to do... In real life or on the computer, gays do not bother me at all. Neither do lesbians. They deserve to get to live how they want, and not feel threatened about it. All this stuff happening in England... sounds terrible. Here in Northern America, I've never heard of that kind of stuff happening... The thing I remember most about Jr. High so many years ago... was being teased because people assumed I was gay. I was one of the two boys out of 15 in the school orchestra. It sucked, we had to perform in front of the whole school. That other boy and I didn't get a break from all the teasing. Jeez, there is are just some things in this world... that may never be brought to proper justice...
