Another World War for you. Plus as a bonus the accompanying excerpt from my book project 'On Werewolves'
"Hitler in Germany was restless and relentless. He reigned tyrannically and swept out the people in his way, even ordering the genocide of several cultures and backgrounds, such as the Jewish Holocaust, and also the gypsy killings. At this time most of the German werewolves were hiding and covering up their lycanthropy. Apparently an officer aware of lycanthropy’s existence from the previous war told of a creature who healed quickly, was exceptionally strong, and could change shape. Hitler offered to the lycanthropes of Germany that if they would provide him werewolf soldiers he would spare them of genocide and also provide for them freedom from secrets in his new world. Werewolves were now on both sides and the battles grew more deadly and dangerous....
A new door of warfare was opened with using the werewolf’s natural skills. There is an account of a werewolf, possibly more of a were-dog, who was assigned to spy on a German officer because he looked so much like one of his German Shepherd dogs! It proved to be effective, and he never was caught. Throughout the whole war only a few privileged officers on either side, and fewer still of the America’s leaders even knew lycanthropy existed. (Those that were aware kept the existence of werewolves a military secret, covering up, ordering silence, or bribing personnel for their silence.)... It is rumored that the German werewolves destroyed or stolen many of the records of their involvement in the war, and any research that Hitler may have done on werewolves, thus silently slipping back into the shadows of myths."
