The Reaper Class Fleet Escort is a small warship design that was first conceived by Rocketdyne just a year prior to the Earth-Minbari War. Many ships of this class would be lost during the fighting, with an entire defense fleet being wiped out at Flinn Colony. Newer sub-types have been built to replace those lost in the conflict.
