I did get a LOT of drawing practice from doing these, and am very pleased with how most of them turned out, anatomy-wise and with poses from different angles. A few frames were inspired by existing illustrations. The rest I drew just to see if I could draw the pose (like Brer Rabbit in mid-mount onto Brer Fox). Unlike before, however, I didn't use any reference material or try to copy existing art--this was all done free-hand, I definitely think my drawing skills have improved. I have the quad form down to a tee. Also had fun with Brer Rabbit's clothes.

We're still trying to figure out exactly *where* he got fox-sized tack from.
The saddle, bridle and blinders were all specifically requested by Brer Rabbit in the story, the blinders so Brer Fox wouldn't see him putting his spurs on while they rode, but I didn't have time (or desire) to draw all of that so I sorta compressed the plot a bit.... which does make it sorta odd that Brer Fox let Brer Rabbit on his back knowing he had spurs on. Meh.
