You can tell I somewhat disagree with the artist's interpretation!

According to the report, these guys' skulls were about 53 cm (approx 20.9 inches) in diameter! I rounded up to 21 inches, and measured across. There we have it! :D

Lots of fun to make, this was. I gotta say, I'm tempted to start drawing 'myself' like this at least, in the face. It's not that much of a change, plus the way the snout and eyes are placed would be more accurate to a real rat. Oh- and big thanks to my buddy,  Temiree for suggesting teeth sticking out! xD It adds to the character, though I'm not sure it'd work for the anthro Red. I'll have to keep mulling this one over.

I think it'd be fun to have a 'semi-fictional' base for myself, as I can change and tweak at will. Besides that, I've always identified with larger animals like bears. Sometimes more than rats. This is a good compromise, no? xD

Lemme know what you think! I'm going to post a sketch page in my scraps here pretty quick, too. Let you guys see some of the drawings, give an idea of what it'd look like. I'm thinking about taking a vote as to whether I should do this change over. If nothing else, I'll make the face shaped more like this, minus the teeth.
