hands for me have always been my struggle... not to mention my anatomy seems to fluctuate between looking too stiff if I use a skeletal sketch, but way too toony if I choose not to do so (as seen on these doodles)

and yeah, I normally hate the horror genre because I get spooked too easily, but I find myself morbidly fascinated with FNAF... it's also a breath of fresh air from all the zombies, vampires, slenderman, etc material that've been overused to hell. If you haven't seen any playthroughs of it, I strongly recommend Markiplier's hilarious playthrough with his commentary.

I've also heard of people saying feet is harder than hands... I guess it helps as a fetishist I look at feet a lot to know how they're normally shaped. If only I could be a hand fetishist for like a month. It's hard getting a good blend of what I can do with freehand and making sure anatomy looks right, yet not wanting to completely rely on references... still figuring things out on my end with my style.

and yeah, part of the breath of fresh air of killer animatronics is even as kids, we always knew they looked unsettling and how they move can sometimes be a bit uncanny, so we already by instinct don't want to get too close to them XP
