A start for what I think will be an interesting project.

She had dreamt it. An empath, connected to the universe in ways
she couldn't understand, she knew they would come from far away. She thought they would come over the sea from unknown shores. It was disconcerting to see them fall from the sky. The astronomers had speculated about beings around the other planets that circulated the sun, to see the evidence was overwhelming. She didn't sense any ill will from the aliens, but the greed that flowed from them in great waves was in a way a scarier, more devious, evil.
