Looks weird with 3d glasses.

It's not an anaglyph. The effect is used ti stimulate the refraction of light when seen through lenses.

I managed to observe this phenomenon a lot more clearly when I got a new pair of glasses , as our eyes shifts away from the center of the lens , the yellow and blue edges start to show. The fringes are called chromatic aberration and I used it put the viewer behind 'lens'. It also enhances the realism of the picture.
