After months of inactivity, we're back with another cover.

We're playing Fangcon this year, and this is a song we're going to perform there.

We were trying to get a recording down with the new mixer that we recently aquired thanks to Musician's Friend that sent us some free microphones.

We were trying to sound as true as possible; therefore, what you hear is all one take and very little post-recording mastering took place. We ran compression on vocals with a reverb filter to bring them out and control volume. We also ran an equalizer to tighten the drums up. Interestingly enough, boosting the bass made the bass less boomy because that was enormous problem in the original recording.

Also, during the verse and breakdown, if you hear a consistent clicking, the microphone was too close to the hi-hat and it's picking up the stick hitting the cymbal rather than just the splash that is ideal. Other than that, with no rehearsal beforehand, we're pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Drums are simply a bitch to record.
