Ulysses was never just a sporty fighting dragon, he also was always dedicated to other sorts of art. The theater for example was one he loved the most. He often helped and did minor jobs on small and bigger theaters, because he was intrigued by the ways how stories can be told on stage.
In 2009 he finally made it the first time to get a job as the directors assistant. But besides serving as a bridge between the director and the actors, the stage crew, the costume designers and what not, he also did what he had always done: Helping everyone out whenever he could.
This photograph was made during the preparations for the play “Broadway Melody 1492” by Jura Soyfer. The makeup crew and costume designer wanted to try out the Native American costume and body paint before they'd use it for the play. Ulysses couldn’t resist as they asked him to volunteer and the girls from the costume department seemed to have much fun taking photos of him. The dragon felt like a model this day, as several photos like this one were taken.
