They are. It's a situation so alluring it's easy to get pulled in before you even question what's happening, even though it's obvious the whole thing was ridiculous from the start if only you stepped back to see it.

Is there any type of person a synx wont eat? Clearly crippled limbs aren't a fact, but what about folks with bodily diseases and such?

If they are weakened by it, yes. Synx aren't squeamish by such things, they just care about their food's defensive capabilities, or more specifically lack thereof. A synx in a hospital would be a very, very bad thing =x

I guess I was just thinking that a synx would pass up a badly diseased victim to avoid catching the disease itself, but I imagine synx's have incredible immune systems to such things.

In most cases, no. If they turned out to be stronger and hurt the synx, it'd likely back away =x It would have to be a weird synx to have some kind of vendetta.
