The Ad in Aviator's Hot Line doesn't say. SN 57-3212, Registration #N131EC, 11815 TTSN and no damage history. Comes with complete set of troop seats, along with all components for paratroop operations. Complete set of litter stanchions and complete cargo roller-floor system.
Jeez, it's tempting. I checked on her registration, it's currently restricted and the broker is the owner. The avionics appear to be OK as far as the cockpit is concerned but it's all 1950's-60's era.

She was an Aussie A model, no corrosion but unmodified or refitted. That wing box is of a concern considering the accidents involving those firefighting A models were in, including that highly-publicized video clip of that one Herc folding her wings up in mid-air... Lockheed does not want to do anything with the A models in either refits or repair work so the owner would largely be on their own.

Those engines will guzzle gas considering she would not be able to get above 20,000 feet due to the propellers.
She's a museum piece, I'm afraid, destined only to carry jumpers on the odd weekend and local airshows.
