Mythos. That's a good band name.

The band name (and logo) come from doomed arpg Mythos which was a project some of the folks over at Runic Games worked on when they were still at Flagship (Hellgate:London). I always thought it was a great name, and made it Zids band name as a tribute to the game as it was in the Flagship days (unfortunately Hanbitsoft ended up with the IP and ruined it).

It's cool indeed. But I tried to develop it further and came up with "Mythosis". Unfortunatelly, as i found out, there is a Metal band in Canada who had the same idea 10 yrs earlier.^^

My bands name was clearly appropriated but it's OK. I'm sure the folks who came up with it wouldn't mind.

Nah, I just looked it up out of curiosity. I can be very curious sometime, y'now?^^

You're getting there! I like the way it's from Zid's point-of-view, and the situation, with an elaborate, presumably glamourous stage set up in this little average-joe backyard, and the audience is just this one guy who showed up early.

While there aren't many details, the ones that are there, such as the oil drum, the pool, and the grill, they set up the scene nicely.

Unfortunately, however, the perspective just feels off somehow, the mountain background feels somewhat like what you'd see on a movie set. Maybe it's just me, though.

At any rate, don't give up! I actually like this picture a lot.

I think it's a step in the right direction but yeah I need to sit down and work on learning wtf i'm doing. You're absolutely correct about the background-I got lazy/impatient.

Awesome work! I've never seen any painting from this perfective so far.
I especially like the waving hair, and as i said, the perspective. But also his character looks really cool; not overdetailed, but very apposite.

I really like the vibrant colors and the unique perspective. Also, the expression is really cute! This is a fun piece.

I was so worried about Obie's expression because at first it didn't seem very much like Obie..Obie is like Zid, though. The hair really makes the character lol. Thanks for the compliment :)
