kind of reminds me when I used to work inside an industrial boiler. This seems remarkably less claustrophobic though, they did a good job hallowing that place out. Doesn't look like the type of thing you could just use explosives for either.

Nah, explosives would just fracture it; it was hollowed out and calcified by a giant rockworm at some point in the past. The locals have just chipped out some entrances and built upon the existing structure!

Damn I've tried so hard to draw a city with a similar design but could never get perspective right mostly because I was trying for larger scale cave.

Yeah, using a 3-point perspective only goes so far when the area being looked up at is rounded inside.

Aw, thanks! Deviating from the 3-point perspective for the rounded interior was tricky, but I think it did the job.

That dinosaur has a blindfold! (and bony plating) The flying-squirrel analogue appears to have a bony/stony helmet/skull as well, interesting!

Yeah; they tend to be unruly if they can see where they're going. And those little lizard-bats are the ivenmoth's main predator in this area; we'll hear a bit more about them later.

I kind of wish you did a wider establishing shot of the "tooth," or a panel showing our characters going from the town to the incline leading to the rock's entryway 'cause it feels like a quick jump from the last page. We're in town, then we're suddenly at the rock. But, hey. How can I complain when you went through the the trouble to make such an amaizing interior of Dwayne Johnson? The lighting is perfect with it being darker towards the bottom and brighter towards the top because of the hollow opening.
