THE GIFTWAR CONTINUES, CLAIMING YET ANOTHER ARTIST
[I first reported on 'The GiftWar', here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13506795/ and then you can see how things progressed with this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13990513/ , this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14161329/ and this: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14212439/ , even though I didn't mention the war itself on those pics]
I fear that the grand Amethystinian Dynasty may eventually succumb to the unrelenting onslaught of merriment mortars and gift gatling guns, constantly pummeling our perimeters with presents both produced by the Mantid Menace and other masterpieces made by neutral third parties. The insects are swarming the proud python republic with untold generosity of spirit and affection. It's all too much!
We have had our small victories, here and there, though. One covert operation, now declassified, entailed the personal hand delivery of a multi-element clusterbomb to the seat of power at the heart of the Arthropodal Continent. The primary warheads consisted of a trio of lethal, sharp bifolding placards, primed, by way of hand-written sentiments within. to attack emotional weak-points and "Feels Zones" that were meticulously mapped out ahead of time through electronic probing and careful correspondence.
The Big Bad Birthday Blast of July 2014 also knocked the 'White Lady of War' back, with a triple-header of multiple-megaton missiles landing on her virtual doorstep.. but more about that later. (For those of you paying attention, 'Incendiary' was one of those three nukes)

In all seriousness, though, there isn't much to say about this pic, aside from stating that it is the very epitome of cutness itself. Most of all, I say this because it seems to be one of the rare times that Nae has said something that has made Amethystine _blush_.. and with the look on HER face, it would appear to be intentional on her part, which is rarer still! O8
I love the hugeness and 'chunkiness' of Ame's coils, here, as well as the contrast in their hands. Thank you again, Sweep! <3
And, of course, as much as I play up the idea of 'The Great & Terrible Gift-War', I must thank my mantis, Nae. Thank you, my Sweet, lovely, amazing, very elegant.. Partenaire en transgressions! You are, as always, a Generous, outstanding, out-doing girl who deserves More abundance, sweet treats, excitement, resplendence, sybaritism, love and everything else I hope to give you.

Amethystine belongs to me, Nae belongs to WhiteMantis.

A smile is a seed
Murmured words nurture its growth
A blush blossoms forth

I disagree.
It's a touching and cute example of those who are different in many ways, but which have developed a kinship and relationship despite said differences.
That relationship is what inspires the 'feels', mentioned in the descriptions, and which in turn inspires admiration for those behind the characters.
