The reason why I say that is certain issues are different because the series has been written by different writers.
If it's issues 1-25 humor driven stories
25-50 drama/ action
50-75 still more action/ drama
75-100 stuff gets a little weird
100-125 little more weird
125-159 omg
160-170 got better
170-200 omg this is awesome
200-225 oh goodness awesome
230-247 epic action/drama but peters out because of behind the scenes bull.
247-251 crossover
252-now reboot and new epic story

Correction off topic sonic is going to turn into a sort of werewolf/ hedgehog in the coming up issues. The comics are doing an adaptation of the game sonic unleashed.
