And Kim isn't so aggressive either.
It's calm here, nothing like that happens on the street, it's pretty regular European country, asian part is not that industrial, but non the less, there is no street gangs.
It's like saying that all Americans are very fat, because we saw it on youtube and in movies a lot.
I don't care about it, as I don't care about politics in general. Saying obvious things like war is bad and yadda, yadda doesnt changes anything. I don't drink tea with Putin in the morning, he isn't my father. I can't talk to him.
The only thing I can tell you that coming to Russia for RusFurence is absolutely safe.
If you have some exact questions, I'm happy to answer.
And I'm really diggin' the whole Soviet theme here~ :3
I do have a couple of questions. How big is the con, what's the attendance numbers like? Also, what's the general dynamic? Is it a social con with lots of people hanging out in mixed groups or going places. Or is it more panel and events based with people sticking more to their rooms or their own groups? Or is it a combination?
Also while I do have an interest in the country I am first to admit I'm very unfamiliar with it. Anything I need to know, or any advice you'd like to give me?
Semni <- A rather curious Dutch fur.
Also, the closest I can get to speaking Russian is English in a very bad accent. That won't be too much of a problem, right? I probably would want to sign up for the People's Furbus.
Plus...ALWAYS wanted to visit Russia :D
But we have kvass and kefir. It's not alcohol, but can have 0.5-2%, so...
Russians don't hate anyone, unless you piss them off of course, xD
Theme of out con this year is "Back in USSR" XD
Dont think its helpful for a furry con.
Rusfurrence Rule №1: "You must be at least 18 years old on the first day of the convention."
So on Rusfurrence you can do anything, but not outdoors
There is tons of people in Moscow and so many freaks, it is capital, what do you expect? People don't react on people with strange clothes.
Furries fursuiting at the central streets near Kremlin and so.
Also con itself is at the country side, between woods and so on. We have whole hotel for our needs. There is simply no civilians around anyway.
We just don't know yet because we need to save up some money first XD
But Vagabonda is working at the Art Show, so she will be there 100%.
If Milly talks about restaurants, I can say you can get it very cheap in cafe around Moscow.
Устроить чтоли эвент по лепке пельменей?..
Hope I can go sometime soon! I don't give a hoot about the politics and nonsense.
Also, what about the fact that hardly any Neo Nazis have been prosecuted for their anti gay crimes?(The ones that have been were for other reasons)
How this question is connected to RusFurence btw?
Also, its not the fear of being arrested, its the fact that the police do nothing about the hate crimes mainly due to the fact that cult called the Orthodox church is fear mongering this hate to the people
