Mono This is my fave sergal to date! I know you guys are working on more but honestly...its like you pulled her from her artwork! This is stunning and I know
Fuzznut is just gonna scream when she opens it...I know I would. Just beautiful work again! Keep up the awesome work guys!

Really awesome.
one thing: the term is tunnels, not gauges. the word "gauges" refers to units of measurement, like "inches" or "feet". You don't "gauge" your ears unless you are measuring them using those units. You stretch them and put tunnels, plugs, tapers, claws, tusks, and any number of large gauge stretched ear jewelery.
Sorry, its just something that drives me nuts.

Its not a huge deal...just one of those social things that make my eye twitch.
Like being in a store that sells that kind of earring and hearing kids say 'gauges'....And then looking at them and seeing they are wearing tapers as earrings.....or their fistula (fleshy tunnel of a piercing) has blown out. Or they have larger ones with grossly thin lobes.
I learned the hard way that stretching one's ears must be done a certain way. I was one of those n00bs who called them 'gauges'. Now my ear lobe is so full of scar tissue that I can't stretch it again without going to a piercing shop and getting them to literally use a flesh hole-punch on my ear to remove the scar tissue.
Friends don't let friends stretch their ears wrong.

I guess I want to correct you in that the word gauge and its forms mean way too many things.
You do gauge your ears and you do wear gauges. I would consider it a slang or a shortened version of what you're really trying to mean.
"My ears are gauged." Is a shortened version of "My ear lobs have been stretched out to an x gauge" We all know we're not wearing instrument panels in our ears, but the term is used to refer to not having "normal" gauged ears at 18 to 16. Its saying you have them at a certain size regardless of what jewelry is holding said size.
"I'm looking for gauges." Again, when you're in a store, there's no section for measuring instruments you wear on your body, rather its referring to the section where you'd find "gauged" jewelry (jewelry that is labeled at a certain gauge as opposed to an earring or other body jewelry which is at a set gauge). Obviously this would be different walking into a tattoo/piercing shop as they dont typically carry 18/16 gauge earrings and are a specialty shop that carries many different types of gauged jewelry.
"Gauges" is a blanket term for lobe jewelry. In a way it could be considered a stationary gauge when not stretching/shrinking to a next size. Technically the size can change, so in a way, your ears are being kept at a fixed gauge which is why we refer to everything related to the process as gauges, gauged, and gauge.

Not really.
"My ears are stretched" or "I've stretched my piercing". The act of getting your fistula (the hole in your ear or any other tunnel of flesh like a piercing) to stretch for larger jewelery is called stretching. As opposed to saying "my ears are pierced".
"I'm looking for X gauge [blank]". Replace the blank with the specific type of large gauge jewelery. like tunnels, plugs, etc.
BodyArtForms.com is a great website for all kinds of body and ear jewelery. They do not call any of them 'gauges'
that term comes from kids going to hot topic or spencer's looking for that jewelery.
Its not a blanket term, it has become a blanket term because of those people.
Just like "pit bull" has become a blanket term for dogs similar to the APBT. when the correct term is Bully Breed.
