The Tuurasucha - 3D Printed Model
I found that I had some credit on my Shapeways account, and so decided to see how my creature model would look in reality!
This is printed in White Strong and Flexible Polished plastic, and the resolution isn't all that great, but you can at least see some scale patterns. This particular model is also the more expensive, and larger of the two variants available in my Shapeways shop. I now have a better idea of what will and won't be as successful when ordering models through Shapeways. The best way to learn is to do! ;p

Sadly, I kept these photos on the smaller size because the camera made them look grainy due to the lack of light while taking the photos. But, to be honest, there really isn't any clear-cut detail, and that's also why I chose these to present the model. I'll definitely see about getting more full-light photos - solid white objects are disturbingly hard to photograph!
