*giggles* This is a commission by
toddlergirl of Jenny, who seems to be waking up from a nice nap to find Alexia waiting for her.
As with any toddler, Jenny needed alot of naps, especially in Jenny's case as she never had the experience of walking or playing around. It was barely three hours after she woke up for the day when Alexia noticed her little girl was falling asleep. She gently laid out a thick blanket and a pillow for Jenny and patted the blanket.
"Aww, is my Jenny all sleepy?" Alexia asked, her cowbell ringing.
"Uh...uh-huhs Moo-moo," Jenny smiled as she rubbed her eyes, slowly crawling, almost a tummy crawl over to the blanket.
"Such a good baby," Alexia smiled, "You're getting better at crawling - almost like a big girl." Jenny blushed as she wobbled over on top of the blanket, slowly clawing the blanket to make a comfy spot for her.
"Moo-moo say I good girl?" Jenny asked as she snuggled in with Alexia smiled.
"Jenny sure is a good girl." Alexia smiled as she ruffled Jenny's tummy. "If you need to nap, it's okay. Learning how to walk and all takes time and energy." Jenny noddled and smiled.
"Jenny know that," Jenny answered as she quickly fell asleep. One of the things that puzzled Alexia is that though she was a teenager and had the coordination of an infant just becoming a toddler...but Jenny understood just about everything Alexia was saying. The doctor did tell her that she was quite a smart cookie - and she was quite smart even as a human. It also explained why Jenny was picking up words relatively quickly. Alexia just smiled as she watched her baby sleep for a few hours till Jenny started to rub her eyes and wagged her tail.
"Aww, is Jenny waking up?" Alexia asked.
"M-mornin' Momma," Jenny said sleepily as she wiggled herself up slowly. Alexia noticed she was struggling a bit but it appeared that Jenny was able to sit up and look at Alexia.
"Such a good girl," Alexia smiled, "You learned another word!" Alexia leaned in and checked Jenny's diaper and giggled, rubbing noses.
"Am I wet momma?" Jenny asked quizzically.
"Mhmm, my little girl is all wet," Alexia smiled as she scooped up her baby, "Though, once you're ready to walk, would you like to learn to use a potty?" Jenny's response was pretty quick and decisive.
"No potty, momma!" Jenny cried, "Dey made me use potty with pointy things. Made me cry...I like my diapers momma."
"Are you sure?" Alexia asked as she laid out Jenny on the changing table, "Would that make you happy if you need that kind of care?" Jenny noddled as Alexia started to change her baby.
"Thank yew momma," Jenny cooed as Alexia cleaned and powdered her up, "I smart...but I like bein' little too."
"Wow, what a good girl," Alexia smiled, "Learning all these big girl words...I think momma is gonna let you have a cookie with your lunch." Jenny clapped her paws and smiled.
"Thankie mommy Moo-moo!" Jenny smiled as Alexia snuggly taped in her baby.
"Aww, anytime Jenny," Alexia smiled, "I don't mind if you still call me Moo-moo...though I like being called momma, too. Now, I think it's playtime for you, Jenny; I have your toys ready so go play!" Jenny cheered as Alexia set her back down on the floor, letting her reach for her blocks and balls and her raccoon plushie.
Jenny had indeed started to develop a vocabulary rather fast...though her walking skills needed more work. And it was clear to Alexia that Jenny's past made her adverse to potty training - though Jenny enjoyed being a baby in that regard.
A big thanks for a cute commission.
