Hey Socks!

It's your sister, Chartreuse! Mom and I went to Ponyville the other day, as she heard from a friend that the Carousel Boutique was the place to go for unique clothes. The mare that ran the place, Rarity, did not disappoint with a selection of absolutely amazing dresses and formal wear! Getting to the point, and not bother you with all the silly mare stuff, I found something for you.

Guess what they are called? SOCKS! I laughed so hard when Rarity told me what they were, and I told her I had a brother who has the same name. She laughed as well, mother letting a small chuckle pass as well. Rarity helped me pick out a rather stallion like set for you. I guess they are more of a joke gift, but I couldn't leave Ponyville without a gift for you. I remember you saying that blue was your favorite color, so we got some tri-colored blue socks for you.

I hope you at least wear them once. Rarity convinced us to get some as well, and they are absolutely amazing.

I have a zebra character, GearMane and thought that I needed a more down to earth pony, something less exotic.

So this is Socks. A unicorn with a chocolate brown coat, blonde mane and tail, black hooves and mis-matched white 'socks' on all four legs, which is where he got his name.


He lives in Canterlot and works as an armorer for the Royal guard, with his forge hammer cutiemark. In order to better understand fit and function for his craft, he serves as a reserve guard with low level responsibility, mainly street patrols. He takes this job very seriously, trying to find a balance between fit, comfort and protection. I'll expand this more later, maybe have a full backstory.
