This was a story assignment for a creative writing class at community college.
I scored 80/100, so I must be doing something right.
And there's nothing like a Crime-Noir story to make oneself feel good.
The reason being, unlike the disgusting garbage on this site, that revolves around rape, torture and all that revolting shit, a Crime-Noir story shows the scumbags who do vile shit to others getting chopped up and sent back to their peers, as a warning, whilst the private-eye protagonist and his girlfriend get to live another day.
My personal favorite scenario is when the Private-Eye uncovers a sex-slavery ring, and instead of calling the police due to them being corrupt swine, he tears the entire operation apart and even confronts several crooked politicians about their involvement.
And then there's the use of "Jack Bauer" interrogation techniques, because there's nothing more satisfying then seeing a repulsive arrogant scumbag pedophile/rapist scream like a little bitch.

Excellent piece of writing! You really help us get a feel for the characters in this, and I personally very much like the ethical questions revolving around this piece, namely, whether a sort of "eye for an eye" type of justice makes you any better than those your are punishing, but suggesting terrible crimes warrant a terrible punishment. In short, good on you for not shying away from these things. It's heartening to see some people on FA can write well!

Thing is, this furry fandom rarely pays attention to what you have, unless it's a lewd female pinup. Fetish art also gets a lot of attention.
