The birdwatching alone would have made my stay in Alaska incredile, yet I was overwhelmed with amazing animals to see every day. I saw foxes, brown bears, literally thousands of sockeye salmon, dozens of bald eagles, hundreds of char and trout, and scores of songbirds whose songs rang out through most of the ‘night’ as there was only 3 hours of darkness at the start of our trip.
