Joint Task Force 2 (JTF 2) is Canada's elite special forces unit that primary is tasked with counter terrorism operations and special operations. Much information regarding this group is classified and not commented on the Government of Canada.

Corporal Jazz "Legolas" Risingstorm (retired) was a Joint Task Force 2 operative primarily classed as a sniper. He led JTF 2 with the highest accuracy and deadliest shot; any gun he is given can be turned into a lethal weapon in an instant. Basically, he never misses hence his call-sign: "Legolas". Armed with a C-14 Timberwolf sniper rifle that he named "Catherine" which was his primary weapon of choice, he became an instant hyper, lethal vector. However, he was forced into retirement from a stray bullet of a Taliban AK-47 carbine assault rifle penetrating him in the lower torso near his pelvic region under his bullet-proof vest . The bullet caused severe damage to several organs and would not heal for a long time.

NOTE: JTF 2 is a real military unit that is world class. Whatever I say about the unit in my stories is usually inaccurate as it is a top secret unit.
NOTE: Although he is Special Forces, due to his retirement, he no longer has to hide his face in images with a mask or it being blanked out.
