As it's not uncommon for PCA students to either be planning on a career in pro battling or have family already in the "industry", I felt it would be good to provide some more detailed information on the different levels of battle leagues that students and their relatives could find themselves in. After all, one does not just simply walk into Mordo- I mean Felix Blackclaw's front door you know.
Of course the leagues listed here may not be the only ones available to a freshly graduated 'mon (the local level sees new leagues appear and old ones close up on a yearly basis, for example), but as they're some of the most widely known in their particular areas they tend to be the most likely prospects for a long term career in pro battling.
There are also the infamous "underground" leagues, but as those are unsanctioned, unregulated and very illegal, most legit pro battlers won't even consider them... if word were to get out that they one were (or still are) fighting in a "bloodsport league", it would practically be career suicide!
