Ice/snow theme kirin.
After much elbow grease I got the dang fur clean (DF sent me dirty fur http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14311293/ ) cept for the small dark spots which actually ended up being misswoven color not filth, I managed to work around them save one which is on the back and I snipped it out and sewed the hole shut.
I am not as fond of this kind of bubble fur as what I used on the pervious 2 suits, but the "honey comb" pattern (as I call it) does not come in white so I had to use this "brick" pattern... the brick pattern being so uniform makes it so much harder to line things up left to right.

the areas that are finished are areas I could prep up and do separate before assembling the entire body, and thus those areas were snugly hand sewn then machine sewn. What you see pinned will get more loosely hand sewn than what is finished, the loose hand sewing just acts as a means of holding it together to be machine sewn, which the pinned areas will get machine sewn twice since the hand sewing will be looser and by no means a permanent solution like on the preped up areas.
There you go again with the bubble fur....
Just passing this on, you got a lot of compliments of your use of bubble fur on Fu Manchu. People thought you had sewn little tufts of fur to a mesh backing to get the effect. They couldn't believe that the fur actually comes this way..
You're spot on about the breathability of the mesh. In spite of the high temps and humidity in Memphis, I didn't find it necessary to wear my cool vest under the suit. Keep an eye on my gallery and favorites, there's a bunch of photos about to show up!!
