kk. this recipe is a result of experimentation so the measurements are in bulk but....it's amazing! and cheap.
Chickeny goodness soup of the Gawds.
you will need:
1 stewpot or a pot big enough for 2 boxes of broth and many ingredients.
a stove (a-der) with a large burner.
1 wooden spoon of medium length.
big ol' knife.
big ol' cutting board.
1 package sliced mushrooms
3 stalks of celery. cleaned and sliced in medium-thick pieces.
2 medium parsnips, skinned and chopped
1 half a medium red onion. (laugh to hide teh tearz while cutting the onion)
Parsley (to taste)
Thyme (to taste)
4 Cans chicken chunks. (cause this recipe needs to be CHEAP for me to make it, cause i'm super poor)
2 boxes chicken broth
And the secret? 2 ramen seasoning packets. (make sure they're chicken. because shrimp flavor is gross)
Pour yo' broth into the pot, add seasoning packets.
Chop your parsnip, onion and mushrooms and dump those in too.
slice your celery. and just guess what you do next. Go on, guess :D .
add your chicken, thyme and parsley . to make it taste good.
Cook on medium high until the ingredients reduce in size and the parsnips and celery are slightly tender.
get a bowl, pour some. nom with manic vigor, repeat untill full, refrigerate leftovers.
