Ahah... I grew up over in Pikeville Kentucky just on the other side of the mountains.
I grew up in a landscape much like you were driving in. I always equated it to living in a giant but-crack.
Fun fact for you since you like junk cars and you were in that area. Did you look over the hillsides? A lot of times in the mountains of WV and KY wrecked cars that were unfortunate enough to go over the hill were impossible for tow trucks of the day (50-60's) to pull them up. So they are abandoned in place...
Glad you made it out alive. :)
You video was entertaining. Thanks for sharing with us.

I see that towing of two cars, trucks, mini-vans on the interstate all the time. It's a great way to burn up the transmission because I don't thank a Ford Taurus was designed to pull two Chevy Astro van's full of wrecked car parts behind it. I actually saw that once and the front end of that Taurus didn't have a front bumper or a rear bumper.
Now to bring my Studebaker back from the dead. I plan to do that when it gets cooler. It's too hot to do anything outside.

On the note of mountain roads...

We got some over here where I'm from as well, but nothing beats this.

Nice vid. You like road trips? If you haven't already drive through Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, it is gorgeous. And for history on the way how about some Civil War battlefields. Cedar Creek and Kernstown south of Winchester, Harpers Ferry West Virginia, and of course Antietam and Gettysburg. I loved it when I lived in Northern Virginia, so much to see and do, especially Fredericksburg. Keep it up big guy, your videos are a highlight!
