School Time
Commission I got a while back from
cuddlehooves, but now seems like a more appropriate time to post it then ever.
It's school time again for some, college university for others, jobs for other people. Whatever the case, summer break is over, and for most, that sucks.
But fear not, even though school is happening again, that doesn't mean it's all doom and gloom, I'm sure you'll have some very fun and interesting events happening in your time at it. Just make sure to not panic and keep focused like Milotipony is here, and don't fall too sleep like Mawilepony has done.
(Who am I kidding, I'd probably fall asleep like Mawilepony does)

A very cute picture of the little scholars. If Mawilepony is clever she shouldn't have too much trouble; I slept through Spanish 2 in high school and made an A in the class, second to only one other student. Haven't retained as much as I would like, but I can parse out written Spanish well enough and catch snippets of it in others' conversations. Particularly find the one to the left of the picture (Renapony, is it?) very cute.
Latin is the mother tongue for most European languages of the continent, so familiarity with numerous synonyms for a word in English or another language can prove a handy route to understanding. Apart from that, make sure to keep your ears pricked during class and try to employ it conversationally as much as possible. Reading things in Spanish, while not a surefire route to complete understanding, can help by putting other words in context. As I said, my retention of the material is insufficient to carry out a detailed conversation with a native speaker, but I can get a general idea of what is meant.
