A picture of a couple of deer I took while I was in Texas during Christmas of last year. Texas is an amazingly pretty place and I highly recommend going there at sometime in your life.

yeah but please make sure you do so in the winter or early spring...summer or fall is not a safe time to do so if your not used to the heat...lol i grew up in texas but i spent 12yrs up in washington state where it got real cold and unfortunately i adapted too well to the cold so the past 3yrs i've lived back down in texas the heat keeps trying to kill me lol lucky i stay in front of a fan and some of the grocery stores and gas stations let me hide out in the freezers for a few minutes to cool off lol
Well, even though Texas does get hotter.. it's dry heat, for the most part, as long as you're past the eastern portion. This picture was taken in the area of Texas considered to be "the hill country", which is the south-central toward western portion of Texas, so it's dry. It does get real hot.. but 100 something and dry is nothing compared to the 90s we get in Louisiana, while very, very humid and sticky. Humid heat is BRUTAL. Gotta love all them rich marshlands we got I: They're pretty though. And yeah it was taken in the winter x3 Christmas of last year, man.
