This is my smaller aquarium. I set it up this summer after swapping out a 30 gallon tank that my plants and fish had outgrown. I have two red/white LED lights from BuildMyLED.com and an under-rim accessory blue/white light from Marineland. I fertilize with a greenleafaquarium blend and metricide.
Amazon swords, melon sword, lily sp., dwarf sagittaria, alternanthera reineckii, anubias nana, unspecified anubias sp, cabomba, hydrocotyle leucocephala, and amazon frogbit.
Black neon tetras, Rummynose tetras, a few Celestial Pearl Danios, Amano shrimp, assassin and malaysian trumpet snails, albino bushynose ancistrus pleco, clown pleco, and one or two red dili shrimp.

Wouldn't mind seeing more photos at some point!
Mangroves (all of the species that I'm aware of, anyway) grow perfectly well in fresh, non-tidal water (the claims I've seen to the contrary on aquarium forums are complete bollocks); all the ones I've grown have been grown without any salt. I've never grown any in aquaria myself, other than some seedlings of A. germinans, and that was only temporarily, as they do have a habit of turning into trees. ;)
Should you want any, the next time I'm in a place I can collect some myself I'd be happy to send you some- I've only two species here and only a couple of each, and they're both nigh-impossible to find in cultivation. Worldwide, I've found -one- place that sells them (in Austria, of all places!), and they're -expensive-. Something around $30 for a single seed. It's not that they're rare, it's just that they grow on the opposite side of the globe and the local people see them as something to be bulldozed and not cultivated.
Damn... I've been really wanting to set up an aquarium again, and now even moreso!
