Tentacoils concept by

Colour pattern is also an homage to
 animalover69's Shikan.
I did not settle on a single colour and pattern for scales, so I'm certainly not limiting myself to the same size at all times.
Besides being an different source of energy and an alternative to directly eating the prey, the suction cups may also use the drained power to increase Inkanyamba's physical size. They are generated and dismissed at will and as such do not impede movement.
The larger the yield, the more significant the growth, so even a large dragon could prove a suitable catch after sufficient personal time with them, or multiple feedings from smaller creatures.
Small enough to hide under your bed at first - big enough to smother you with weight alone after.
The draining is optional - they may be used as simple suction cups to hold the prey still. As in, more still.

Ooooh~ Humans are the most delicious, the way they slide down with no fur sticking everywhere, how they have nothing to fight back with and can easily be swallowed alive, how you can taste their whole smooth face at once, and their neck, and their limbs... Don't get me started

I find that demonstrating prey its helplessness is best done in stages, rather than just slowly: trip it and plant a coil over it to show how unmovable I am; coil it to restrain and show how useless strugge is; whisper and make it clear for it that it is nothing else but caught prey; drain its strength to prevent even an attempt at resistance; invade its mind and deny the very thought of escaping... etcetera~

Being "forcefully" submitting by having my energy drain along with those thick, strong coils holding one in place, slithering and squeezing with such preassure alone to tire one out is just amazing, fainting in those coils, only to wake up there again after a looong while, or somewhere else? @u@

Not too into coiling, but I do love how much effort and detail you put into making the suction cups and body gestures, they make the picture that much more appealing. I also love the transition from scales to suction cup on the first panel. That bar on the bottom left too. :3

Admittedly, this piece was made 5 years ago and you've certainly improved since. I definitely think the poses could have been slightly better and yeah, lighting wasn't that much of a detail in here, but I still think it's a great picture. :3 I think people like it so much because the idea of tentacoils is really rare.

It's really satisfying to look at art that existed 7 years ago and look at your progress. To sum it up, you never made a mistake. It was top tier the moment you started. I NEED to sleep in this at least 18 thousand times before I die. But TBH, I'd probably die in this wouldn't I? Does anyone care about that? Being in your embrace is the most satisfying thing in the world
