I close my eyes, then I drift away
Into the magic night I softly say
A silent prayer, like dreamers do
Then I fall asleep to dream my dreams of you
-Roy Orbison, "In Dreams"
Isotope Franciso Roxborough (center) was born with a crested head, a curled tail, and the ability to change the coloration of his skin. A former orphan, he loved his adoptive father but was preoccupied with who his real parents were, and created a mental image of them. During a chance viewing of The Man Who Fell to Earth, the picture in his head was finally matched by reality, and he screamed "THAT'S MY REAL DAD! THAT'S HIM!"
It will remain a mystery if Mr. Bowie indeed fathered a chameleon boy, but at least now Isotope had a real figure to focus his dreams on. This picture - featuring a cameo of his lifelong companion Idle Wild (an elk dryad) - is of a moment in his slumber wherein everything is right in the universe.
readasaur created Idle Wild.
kamechuu moved the earth for me when she made this picture.

What, where do you live that an enormous Bowie with a handful of critters isn't a common sight? ;)
