Welcome back! During the downtime I... did nothing at all, really, but I've dusted this tab off that had been sitting nearly finished for a while. It's from one of my slightly older songs, from 2005 or so. The tab in GP5 format (and TXT files for those without it) is behind the link above, and the actual submission file is the original MOD version again because I've given up telling people the in-page MIDI doesn't work.

"The Edge of the World" had a pretty brief description last time I posted it - it's about a race of people who know nothing about the outside of their small place in the world. To them, the edge of the place that they know is the edge of the world, and they are too arrogant to see their own pride. Some of the lyrics seem a little heavy-handed to me three years later, but all work tends to become more embarrassing as it gets older.

It's probably one of the simplest guitar parts I've ever written, mostly following the voice melody exactly (with some arpeggios from hell near the end to make up for that). The chorus is powerful, over-confident and triumphant, and I think if I've ever written an air-guitar piece, this has to be it!
