I run an Imperial Knight army myself, love the model and their background fluff is amazing. Haven’t converted mine quite as much though :P

I would LOVE to field a full imperial knight army and there's a good chance im going to buy two more at some point XD

the only reason i havent is i fear i would never get to use them XD

almost every army in my local area just don't factor into their army lists to deal with more than one super heavy haha we tried playing one 1500 point game that had two in it and the opponents got steam rolled XD not that they are bad players! its just none of our army lists are based around many people using more than one super heavy XD

and my one friend who field 120 guardsmen would just be crying at the fact his 360 lasgun shots have gone to waste XD

Well with 7th edition Unbound rules pretty much anything can be used in any army. And Knights with their own codex are 100% legal in normal 40k games! :D ....although, yeah XD Knights pretty much steamroll over any opponent. I’d advise your gaming group to take more vehicles and heavy weapons :P

I currently run three Imperial Knights from House Mortimer, and as soon as I’m done moving to a new home I’m going to add in a Forge World Cerastus Knight-Lancer or Knight-Castigator. I even fully modeled the interior on my Warlord’s Knight Seneschal.

thats the problem haha XD everyone's list here are built in a really cool thematic way and they all really love their armies XD i'd feel bad if they had to change their lists just for me as an exception haha! for example, one of them has a full sanguinary guard army that has some "knight errant riders" which are converted out of the fantasy griffon riders that have sanguinery guard riding them (counting as thunderwolf cavalry) but he has very VERY little anti tank as it doesnt fit the fluff or theme XD none of our lsits are by any means tourny worthy but they are pretty tough and we're all fairly balalanced agaisnt each other :D

heh they all put a lot of love into their lists so for them to take a few more tanks or a butt load of melta weapons just for when fighting me, its when the lists start to get tailored and lose the fun XD

at the moment my current unbound list is an entire army themed around the dark souls aesthetics where i got a LOAD of fantasy models and converted them into 40k monsters and I use whatever rules best suit the model haha so i have a wraithknight which is the new Nagash model and a nemesis dreadknight which is a zombie dragon XD

also awesome stuff! :D i would LOVE to model and interior for my next knight :D I was genuinly surprised that the GW plastic ones didnt have it considering the hatch is removable XD

I think my next one is that gloooooorious new one with the flamer and twin chainsword......or that new mechanicum one with the big claw..SO MANY CHOICES! XD

And yeah lol, ForgeWorld previewed an interior kit for their Cerastus pattern Knights, i hope they do one for the standard GW version too. I hope the weapon options are more interchangeable on the new ones they’re releasing, I’d love to use the Knight-Lancer’s shield with that Vulcan Mega-Bolter from the Castigator.

I know right! the preview knights from a few months ago had the sword with the flamer and the double chainsword with the vulcan mega bolter and now they've switched XD

so im not sure which i want anymore haha!

Well hopefully ForgeWorld will release like...their own Knight supplement containing all the rules for their different variants. That would be cool :3
